      its not a 'normal' camera.
      if you dont know what the differences are I highly doubt you should need to buy a gopro.

    Wow - I was about to ask my cousin to bring one over from Canada where they're $399 Canadian ($1.03 AUD conversion rate), but this is cheaper still!

    Damn, that's cheap. I picked up a Sony HDR-AS30V a couple days ago because I refused to pay the amount Gopro charge Australians for their cameras. The Sony is great but if the Gopro's were this price I would have got one.

    Could anyone potentially help with some advice? I referee soccer matches and want to wear a camera to catch the footage of the match wherever I look. It has to be somewhat decent quality. Is the GoPro the best option for me or is there something smaller or better for this use?

        It'd have to be next to his head on a headband. I think the Sony Action Cam would look better mounted there, as the design is much sleeker. Video quality is good too, and they can both do 120fps 720p to catch those damn cheats. :)

          However a chest mount is far more stable and tend to look better in POV shots. There will be so much bobble mounted on your head that reviewing the footage later would make someone reallll sick.

        Would ideally be mounted to my head so I can follow the play. A hat would be ideal over a helmet.
