Favour please? Pretty please?

Hi, my old man needs a new website, we don't know anything about coding and really have no funds to hire a web developer…so thinking about trying weebly pro account out for a bit and if its worth it we'll find some money to pay for it in the long run.

I know this community has helped others in the past, and I really honestly appreciate your help if you can.

It takes about a minute to make a website and before you know it you too will have a space on the internet…haha I know I'm not kidding anyone but we are just trying to see how useful the website would be for us.

Also, I hope I have done this right, but please edit as you please mods.

Thank you all very much.

  • Have you tried wordpress instead? $8 a month for weebly seems pretty cheap, but free is even better (assuming it has the same features).

    • Yer, thought about wordpress, but we do not want the 'wordpress' in our website domain, want to use our own, which we have from an old website of ours. I have also played around with the features on weebly, seems pretty easy to use. If it works out, then weebly may be a long term solution for my dad. I'll just manage it when he wants me to change it.

Thanks for your reply, thought it wouldn't hurt to ask like others have done in the past :]

      • I'm 99% sure you can add your own domain to wordpress. Just buy one from namecheap or somewhere and route it to wordpress, I'm sure they have a guide on their website.

Run a Wordpress site on ServersAustralia..
Free hosting, free back-end, doesn't get any cheaper and wordpress is dead easy to use.

  • wordpress….

My site is all 100% free wordpress on my own domain www.benicio.com.au

    • Thank you, might give it another try if weebly doesn't pan out.

      your website is very slow!!

  • I played around with wordpress and couldn't get a proper grasp for myself. Even with weebly I had to get some help haha. Thanks anyway.

Also thank you to the person that's done it. Made me smile after a torrid and windy school run.
