    5 stars is the brand name of the appliance, like how subway is owned by doctors associates. While there is a reason behind the name it gives the consumer a false sense of security.
    
    '5 star chef' sounds slightly better than 'this will set you on fire electronics' anyway.
    Rep if you want to send me a test model so I can vouch for the products awesome I'm happy to set something up, but at $79 for a non brand name appliance it seems a little risky.
