Marks and Spencer now have a minimum £30 spend to qualify for free delivery

Just a heads up - I think Marks and Spencers has discontinued their free delivery to Australia for any size order. Looks like you have to spend a minimum of £30 to qualify. Fair enough, always thought it seemed too good to be true! Just a shame when shopping in the sales as they don't seem to reserve items so by the time you have filled your basket most of the stuff has already been bought. That's where putting in a couple of smaller orders is helpful.

This was in an email I just received;

  • Seems fair enough, the cost of delivery would have to be fairly significant and could wipe out all the profit if people are just buying one or two items for a couple of pounds. Better for them to implement this minimum spend now than to disscontinue it altogether :)

      Yeah, that was what I thought. Am glad they have kept it free for a reasonable spend.

      I'll miss being able to pop on for a few things though! And am still crying that they can't post their sausage rolls over to Aus…they are freaking awesome…if only there was a way!

    • Yeah, it wouldn't have been sustainable for them to provide free shipping especially if the orders were small. I'm glad they didn't get rid of free shipping altogether as I was going to put in another order for Christmas gifts.

    some of their snacks are asesome

  • hmm, my $1.75 wallet will cost $20 now? :(

  • Disappointing but understandable, I suppose. Still good value stuff there, though.

  • Just check and they have changed the terms and conditions for delivery to Australia. Just double check at this link:
