  • limit of 1 per household. Would that include claiming earlier in the year?

No. Different promotion = new terms and conditions (even if the same).

  • Sounds good, one question. How many in a set? Everywhere just says set, not the number :/

    • last time, the set = 2 glasses

      • 25 buck should be two

  • FYI: Those Glasses break veeeery easily.

    • Bodum glasses are quite strong but like all glassware you just have to be extra careful with them.

  • btw.. woolworths are selling them for $2.50 atm. the coffee i mean

    • all woolworths? or just your local one

      • not sure.. it was on specials not reduced.. so i guess all of them should have it.. calling them would b a good idea i reckon

    • Wow (no ASX pun intended)! Never seen L'OR cappies that low. Makes this promotion twice as enticing.

My local woolworth and Coles are selling them for $5.99, checked after read your post

    • +1

My guess is they would only be selling for $2.50 if they are close to use by date.

could be.. the last time i bought the coffee , got the glasses and returned the coffee.. scored a free pair of glasses..

  • No counter of how many sets are left like the last promotion? How are we supposed to know if it's worth our time putting in a claim?

    • I was thinking this as well. It doesn't mention 'while stock last' in the promo.
Does that mean it's unlimited to public while limited to 1 per household?

    • That is because "every valid claim will be awarded a set". See point 14 of the terms and conditions. It seems that they do not have a limit to the number available.

I did this last time. The glasses are not very good - I use mine in the dishwasher which is specifically allowed and they have all turned cloudy on the inside. The cheap four set of $5 glasses from Target on the other hand aren't as well formed but have been hand washed and totally fine.

As for L'Or, it's pretty damned tasty, and it smells great (sniff the capsule before putting it in the machine). The downsides are that you can't stack the pod packets anywhere (I guess it has nice little boxes though), and more importantly, the new Nespresso Kazaar and Dharkan blow them all out of the water.

So… not sure this time. Maybe. Maybe not.

    • Agree, that initial scent is great although it always makes me think of the "popcorn lung" medical cases (my own hypochondria kicking in). The upside of the L'Or packaging is that they can all mingle in a single sistema container without contaminating flavour, as may occur with mixing teabags in the one container.

I disagree about the quality of the glasses. Have had mine for a long time, none have broke (touch wood) and dishwasher has not caused any cloudy misting on them. I guess different dishwashers behave differently.

    • I'm glad yours are okay. I didn't do anything special with mine, honest.

The other irritating thing is that the lip curves in a little at the top - if you have a Pixie U and put the cup there (where the lip should hold up the tray), it can sometimes slip and move, or the coffee jet looks like it could hit the edge.

I hold mine in place. But the cheap-o ones don't have that problem.

  • I went to my local Woolworths today (Box Hill) and no evidence of this promotion. Can anyone confirm this applies to all Woolworths stores.

Also, they were on special last week at $4.99, now back to $5.99.

  • I wonder if this deal can be applied to the six pack they sell at Costco?

  • These glass are garbage, i have had them explode in my face, pretty dangerous too.

  • I agree with the comments on low quality of these glasses. Broke 2 of them with shattered glasses everywhere… they didn't feel much more expensive than others made in china glasses except the bodum labels, unlike their premium coffee plungers which i m a big fan of.

  • I got 2 set last time.Pretty sure their coffee is not of good quality.
That explains why they need this kind of promotion again.People don't continue buy their products.

  • Coles have buy 4 get 1 free special on L'OR pods this week.

  • I am curious about the comments made regarding the quality of the glasses, and wonder if this is very common. I have 10 of the Pavina 250ml glasses, and 4 of the Pavina 80ml glasses, and touch wood none have shattered through normal use or become cloudy from washing in the dishwasher.

As these are made of glass, I am aware that they can shatter if subjected to wide temperature fluctuations (i.e., pour in boiling water, then replace with cold water), or if dropped and scratched may make them more likely to shatter when subjected to thermal stress.

    • Yeah, we're similar. We have 8x pavina 250ml, 4x 80ml, as well as other shaped ones. We have broken only one glass and that was clearly our fault. No other problems whatsoever and we use them every day and put them through the dishwasher etc.

These are currently on special at Coles for 4 for $16 if you are still thinking of getting this deal.

  • Did anyone hear back from L'OR Espresso after submitted the claim online and posted the paper work?
Not sure if they will contact us after receive the paper work.
