Car window tint - Melbourne (prefer Western Suburbs)

I just bought a Honda CRV and need the 4 door windows, rear quarter panel window inserts and tailgate window tinted. May also consider getting the sunroof done also. Where is the cheapest place to get it done? A friend of a friend said he can do all the above (except sunroof and tailgate) for $280…

Was looking at eBay and saw DIY tint kits…is it worth risking to save a buck or two (to spend on other OzB bargains)??? Lol…

    Save the money and get it done properly in the first place :D You'll end up spending more as you'll eventually do it twice going the DIY route………..

    I tinted two cars before, it's not that easy and takes more than what you think. For pice of mind let someone do it for you.
    Or if you have time try it with a window if you are happy with the result do the rest.
