Nikon Coolpix AW110 Vs GoPro Hero 3 Black?

hello..
we are going on a holidays soon to hong kong disneyland and phuket thailand.
I already have a dslr for pics and thinking about getting Sony 96GB HDR-PJ790 for videos(anyone know any deals for this?)I have 3 kids that i want to make videos of.

Now I wanted a camera that can attach to rides and also go underwater (snorkeling,pool) while making great quality full hd movies. How does the aw110 compare to gopro black? Is the quality of film much different in the gopro?
I really dislike that the gopro doesn't have a lcd screen..so the aw110 is looking better to me. Its pretty important for me to actually see what i'm filming.

I know gopro has many mounts and i have seen a suction mount for the coolpix 100..does anyone know if this also fits on the aw110?

    Mostly video use: GoPro with the LCD Touch BacPac..
    Mostly still use: Olympus TG2.

      Yep agree. If mostly video, use a go pro. With the LCD bacpac, you can still take plent of snaps with it as well.

      YOu won't have time to 'mount' the gopro to any rides - so get a camera that has a decent strap would can wrap around your wrist!
