Seeking a Region Free 3-D Blu-ray player that plays both DVD and Blu-ray from any region, doesn't need to have LAN or Internet but MKV playback and DTS support would be good, Price isnt an issue but cheaper the better, doesn't have to be a named brand either, thanks
For Hassle free Multi Region support I would recommend the Oppo of one of the brands that is a reworked Oppo unit.
I've worked a lot with the Oppo range with the addition of the "Mod Kit" that allows you to set the region. There will be a new model out next week which will feature the Darbee Technology. If you want to see this technology, I think we are the only one's with a Darbee unit on show.

I've got the original Samsung 3D Blu-Ray player, which came region locked. Was really easy to unlock using a combination of key presses found on the internet. Since then have tried movies from all regions and they all work fine.
But the easiest solution is to buy your Blu-Rays from Europe, which shares the same region as Australia.
