I bought this deal last time it was on. Wonderful PJ (PS3, ATV and PC all used through it) and great customer service (only had a couple quick queries to ask, but they were answered suitably promptly).
PJ is currently setup on the coffee table, 600mm from the floor. It shoots a 90" image to the screen which is 1500mm away (have to use PJ's zoom as 90" happened to be the biggest screen I could find at the time). PJ is capable of shooting a much larger screen form that same distance with the living room window curtains open wide. Come next weekend the PJ is going to the ceiling and I'll begin sourcing a bigger piece of material for the screen!

This is the same as the W1070 but with a short throw lens right?

Yes it would seem to be. All the other specs between the two seem almost identical.
The W1070 has a conventional 1.3:1 lens and some vertical lens shift. The BenQ W1080ST, on the other hand, has a 1.2:1 short throw lens and no shift. See: http://www.projectorcentral.com/benq_w1080st_home_video_proj…

The Benq projectors I have used previously were pretty cheap feeling. They also had a self destruct on their globes so you had to buy a new one even if it hadn't worn out.
