    I've tried this brand twice before. The soles wore out much sooner than others (Dr. Martens) I use.

    I usually wear the same shoes every day for ~18 months (don't walk much). Boring I know, but my wife makes up for my lack of shoe buying.

    The JM's didn't last past 5-6 months. The upper sections looked great, but the soles fell apart. At first I thought maybe the first show was a dud, but the second pair I tried(bought months later) also exhibited the same issue.

    Got a pair of the Hex in the Brown last time there was a big sale on… about the same price. Great shoe, comfortable, the leather softens just the right amount over a month or two, has a reddish brown colour.

    Recommended!
