Fetch TV update 2.0 "Bondi" allows for viewing streams from PC, Plex and USB

Just wanted to let others who have Fetch TV from optus know that the latest update allows for streaming from Plex on your network to the Fetch TV, and directly via the USB ports. It's much more than enough for casual viewing, and from my preliminary play around, you can pause/play and continue viewing from the last stopped time (Plex). I did notice it couldn't play mkv files though.

I tried and you can't play mp4 files as well. But I like the idea of looking at images, music and video directly from the usb port. ;)

  • That sucks, most of my 720 and 1080 videos are either MP4 or MKV. Might have to encode the files to another format before viewing!
