I just bought a case of cider on the site.
For each auction there is a clear expiry date specified. I was certain this was mid 2014. This is why I and others bidded it up.
2 days After the Auction its now mid 2013.
I was wondering if others experienced anything like this?
That is the vendor changing information post auction.
I'll be certain to take screenshots of future auctions now.
Cider would have a Best Before.. It's not illegal to sell past BB Date provided it is specified.
They can't do that…
Agreed, if the info has been changed, it's a bait and switch.
You just have to prove they changed the detail!
Dodge! they cant do that, i suggest you report this to ASIC.
It is true that the onus of truth if probably with you, but if enough people make the same/similar complaint, it'll make ur case a lot easier to prove.
Maybe ask grays before reporting. Might as well give them a chance to end it there.

Haven't we already passed mid-2013? Wouldn't that make them selling something that has already expired? Isn't that illegal?
