Footlocker 30% off Friends and Family Sale - Instore 4 Days Only

1040

Footlocker have these a couple times a year but I thought it was usually 40% off … anyway, print off the picture (linked) and bring it in store. Seems like it's not valid for online.

30% off marked prices, so you might be able to grab a bargain. Not valid with existing promo deals (2 for 1 etc).

I think the code on the image is generic, being a friends and family sale anyone can use it … you're all my friends, right? :-)

Just in time for Xmas.

Enjoy!

If anyone has any doubts about using the pic OP posted, you can also claim the offer yourself via their Facebook page :) https://www.facebook.com/footlockerau/posts/683328475025477

So with 30% off the RRP of their stuff, does this make it cheaper than buying from eastbay (taking into account the usual eastbay coupon for 25-40% off) and shipping to AU right now? (considering the AUD2USD has weakened a tad)

    • Should be close. If you aren't familiar with your shoe size, it's probably worth paying a little bit extra here.

    • Haven't seen eastbay with 20%+ coupon for ages, it's mostly between 10% to 20% nowadays.
I also find they don't discount shoes heavily like they used to be, especially for the popular models.

      • Eastbay has been doing 20-25% pretty regularly I find and for me it usually pays for shipping.

        • I haven't seen a 25% off code this year so far even I got emails from eastbay regularly.

Also went through 10 pages of search results of eastbay on ozbargain, all I see is 20% codes.

20% off codes are close, but not enough to cancel up the shipping since it is increased to 28% of the total purchase :(

  • Thanks OP. Does Footlocker sell Nike Free Runs?

    • +1

      Yeah, they do.

In other news, the American Footlocker had Nike Free Run +3 for $40 with free shipping. :(

Thanks, still haven't worked out my ideal fit yet so buying online is a bit of a punt for me.

A really useful website I use for size comparisons is http://www.runningwarehouse.com/

Each shoe product page has a ShoeFITR application which compares/outlines their 3D scans of shoe vs. shoe. You basically compare what you're wearing now to what you want to buy and it does an overlay of sizing and shape.

      Only for running shoes though…

      • Wow, thanks for that

  • a noob question as i dont really shop at footlocker, do they sell air max 1s there?

    • Yes.

      • cheers, the website wasnt loading before

Footlocker Au website is severely trimmed down … in-store (and even store vs store) will have a much larger range.

Yes they sell Free Run's … even the old Free Run 2's and the new women's Free TR III (some colours on clearance already for $99.95). If you're looking for Free Run + 5.0 they'd be $160 less 30% so will be $112 which is a good deal.

For Asics fans they might have the Kayano 20's soon, but I wouldn't hold your breath. I've been looking around, best deal is on eBay for $159.95 which is a bargain. We are so behind the times…

FYI also you are allowed to show them the coupon image electronically (i.e. on your phone) for the discount.

    • It seems to be that way in everything :(

  • thanks seems to be good deal ;)

  • Do they have soloman hiking shoes there?

    • Nope, you will probably need to check out the uk sports sites like wiggle

And here I though foot locker was where people went to try shoes on before buying them online…

Do they sell genuine shoes? I went into their stores last time while the price is significantly lower than other stores, the shoes they have on display including a pair of nike and new balance look very different to the ones I have at home. I purchased mine directly from Nike and New Balance so pretty sure mine are genuine. Can anyone confirm this?

    • +4

Not sure if joking or not?

    • Yup, 100% authentic.

  • Thanks OP I was looking to get a pair of Nike Frees 5.0

  • Just read that it excludes limited releases.. I was keen to use this on the lebron/kobe/kd shoes but i guess that's not an option anymore.

    • Try your luck, you might be surprised, their POS systems are fairly old skool. Young cashiers might not know the rules either.

  • does anyone have a eastbay coupon for free delivery?

    • +4

I've never come across an Eastbay free international delivery.

Even when there's 20% off I hardly bother … with their 28% shipping rate and our ho-hum $AU I still lean toward UK sites. Their prices and selection have gone downhill too, that's what I notice with running gear anyway. It's still awesome for basketball and NFL though.

      • Nah, same thing happens to basketball gear :(
I wonder if there's other place I can get cheap authentic basketball stuff…

      • Out of curiosity what UK sites do you buy from?

        • +1

My main ones for almost everything I own : Wiggle, StartFitness, ProDirectSelect, SportsShoes.com

  • do i print this voucher and show them ?

    • Yes, or show them on your phone
