      Oh, can't you see, it's a bean bag without the beans for people who are full of beans to take with them on holiday, so that they can take lots of pictures in awkward angles in exotic places to be able to say "been there, done that and used my bean bag for that".

    Obviously its just a glorified small bean bag, but for someone in the industry you'd be surprised how often you use something like this. This sure beats trying to level your camera on the ground itself, or carrying a 10kg shotbag!

    To the ones to negged this deal, keep in mind.
    1. Cam-Pod is entirely made in Australia so naturally it will be more expensive to produce than getting it made overseas.
    2. It costs us over $7 to post this item out to an Australian address. So after all the costs, packaging etc, you still think this item is worth $5?
    3. If the item sells for $5 and you have no need for this item, then it will still be overpriced at any price, wouldn't you agree? If however you are into photography and want steady pictures or to protect your camera gear in its bag, then it may be value for you. We have sold many overseas and the shipping costs to some places is over $20 for this 500gm item yet customers still pay it. Customers love the item but again it is not for everyone.
    4. Item is shipped from Sydney and not overseas which can take a few weeks to arrive.

    While I appreciate that this is a free community and every can voice their opinions on every deal but to neg it because you have no need for the item? Value is in the eye of the beholder.

    I think that many people are now so used to gadgets that are being sold for 99cents with free shipping from overseas that they may not assess other products for its merits, including shipping, quality and country of origin.

      OO well that explains everything, if it's an accessory for ab SLR camera, the price of $20 for a simple bean bag is somehow being justified!
