Microsoft Cash-back not received

Hi,

I remembered about that cash-back offer in June/July this year and decides to check my bank account to see if I ever received it and I didn't. I have a claim confirmation number in an email they sent me but nothing more since I mailed in my receipt. Does anyone know how to contact Microsoft about this? I only seem to be able to find technical support numbers for Australia. Links to promo are dead now.

    I emailed them a while back and the address was "HardwareCashback@promtel.com.au". Though they took almost two weeks to reply…

      Ok that email returned this message:

      "Thank you for your email.
      This promotion is closed and this mailbox is now unattended.
      For all product enquiries please phone 13 20 58."

      So I rang that number and was was told to contact:

      1800 233 033
      hardwarecashback@promtel.com.au

      So I rang 1800 number, which is for any MS promotions fyi, and was told they unfortunately never received my receipt and since promotion is now closed there's nothing they can do. I said never mind, it's such a small amount I'll just let it go and forget about it. Not worth fighting over for $15.

      Case closed.

  • I don't believe the cash back is handled by Microsoft but outsourced in Australia.
