Today I discovered the Lego Friends Series 3 packs on clearance for $1 (normally $5) at Coles South Rockhampton.
This may be all the stores state or country wide though so it's worth checking. Usually when they get the memo to reduce stock, it's all stores. They had heaps of them. I took about 25 packs for my kids (and to put away for birthday party presents) before I took the photo.

Great deal and awesome idea for party favours. I wish this was available for my daughters last birthday. (Also not bad little sets, I grabbed all 3 types when my local Coles screwed up and did a 2 for 3 offer. They hadn't changed the price in the system so I got all 3 packs for $5).
Personally I'd go for 3 for 2 over 2 for 3 :-)

If you go to your files and click on the picture, then copy the address of the photo (photo only not your Ozbargain files), paste that and people can click on the link and see it.
What are Lego friends?
Girl Lego, they are very well made (obviously because it's Lego) and they feature things like puppy's and pony's. Very popular for little girls. My daughter actually picked a Lego friends set over a superhero set which is mind boggling. This is a girl who when asked 'who is your favourite princess' responses 'Spider-Man'.
I was thinking that the other stores should do it monfsts. If you click on my pic and make it big you can see the poster that shows they are on 'special' not clearance as such. I wouldn't have thought they would print those 'special' posters in-store would they? Surely they would come from head office?
They do print them in store and this is most likely a store only special. My local Coles actually does special's like this is they've got a large amount of items and don't want to individually reduce them all (for example Coles pizzas go from $3 each to $1 each). As Coles don't price match it is highly unlikely that another store would match the offer.

Not at Patterson lakes Coles, definitely a local special. In fact, they didn't even have Lego friends minifigs at all. I was planning on ozbargaining their stocks…
all south east qld stores have them as $5 each :( any chance you want to pick up an entire box full for me???
