I was shopping around for the brand new galaxy note 10.1 2014 and only so far found it on dwidigitalcamera.

What is with Samsung's pricing for this tablet.
I think pricing is because it is the most powerful consumer tablet in the world lol I want one… but for $500 LOL. next best is for me to wait for nexus 10 2013
why would you pay $800+ for an android tablet ???? for running complex excel NO, Photoshop nope, what really needs more power than a $300-$400 android tablet ?? better off getting a windows tablet with full windows 8.1 for that price and get a computer not just a table for apps.
android (well samsung actually) getting into dangerous territory here. im really impressed with air command and other multi tasking productivity tools with new additions, but no where near on par what (an almost) similarly priced Surface Pro 2 can. but definitely a future ahead with more higher end tablets, excited with what's to come

At least the screen is equivalent to Nexus 10 (300 ppi).
But once again they're going with two versions of the CPU, Octo Exynos and Snapdragon 800.

My guess is the Octo is 3G only, and the S800 is 4G, just like with Note 3 and S4.

3G version of Samsung tablets are known to be able to make calls, which is different from Apple devices. Can this make calls ?
I've seen a few hands-on posts make references to the dialer and contacts apps, so I think so.
I think you'll also get a $50 Google Play voucher with the purchase of Galaxy Note 10.1
so pricey, my cousin got it from Vietnam for just 13,990,000 VND, which is around 712AUD
well i heard samsung opened many factories in vn which makes it cheap due to cheap labors, however the quality standard for these tab made in vn will be not as good as international standard, not just phone, cars, appliances blah..blah
sounds like you have never opened the back of your samsung devices and have a look and see, they all mostly are Made in Vietnam, included the Note 3 I got from Harvey Norman. Besides, not everything linked to a country is particularly bad, a Made in US product still can be faulty and bad quality, hence warranty is out there for us ;)
who said apple is pricey? im android user but i had to say android tab's prices depreciated very quick..in 2 months time you can buy it for less than $600, my suggestion is never buy samsung product from the first day it is released, look at note 3 price now and tell if i'm wrong.
It wouldn't be so bad if it was LTE enabled and not just 3G….
Someone after a wifi version can source it from tigerdirect for$600 for 32gb and pay their postage fee of ~$75 still a decent price..
