I went and purchased Guitar hero World tour last night at EB games for $280 - Price beat JB Hifi for $288 XBOX 360. I was told by the sales guy that if you buy the world tour pack you will get the Metallica game for free inc the double kicker. So for $280 you get:

Guitar hero world tour pack
Metallica Game + Kicker = Free

Originally i wanted Rockband for Enter Sandman by Metallica but it wasn't available. So i was told that the metallica would be released on the 27th of may. But if i purchase the would tour pack i would get the Metallica game for free when it comes out and i would get a call from the store to come in a pickup the game on the day of release. The Metallica pack is $169 for the guitar, game and the double kicker. I am not sure if everyone will get it @ $280 for the price match it could be cheaper than $280 but atleast $288 will also get you the free game.

    the double kicker as far as i am aware is only available to people who pre-order the game. so if you pre-order the pack, you are essentially pre-ordering the game.

    Basically you have to pre order to get the free double kicker. I was speaking to the sales people at EB games in WA, Perth Canning vale on Albany Highway. World tour pack for $280 is cheap + free game and accessories isnt bad, makes it more worth while

    Haha I just bought Guitar Hero Aerosmith for PS3 from JB Hifi for $40. Got home, put the disc in, and World Tour boots up. Too bad I already have World Tour :S

    I tried getting EB to pricematch both JB HiFi ($279?) and BigW ($248) on the GH:WT Wii full kit.
    They wouldn't give me the free GH:Metallica pre-order as well, unless I paid the full $319 that EB normally charge. They'd match the price on the kit alone.

    Has anyone else had any success on getting both the pack and free GH:M pre-order using a price-match? Not just talking to an assistant, but actually buying it?

    At the $319 price, I may as well get the pack from BigW and buy the GH:M game later. It's no bargain.
