I have yet to find out how to add multiple phone numbers under the same contact name. The Huawei Y201 can have home phone number and mobile phone number under the same contact name but I cannot do the same with G526. When I am trying to add another field, the only choice is ring tone. Does any phone using G526 know how to add another phone number field to the same contact? Thanks in advance.

G526 running Android 4.1.2. Y201 running Android 4.0.3. Y201 can have multiple phone numbers under the same contact but G526 cannot.
Try doing it from within gmail contacts and see what happens

You must be storing contacts on the SIM, which just allows name and 1 number.
when adding new contact, change to "phone contact" or "google".Did you sync contacts from your old phone?
Scotty, Huawei and Voda have not crapped too much on this phone.
What there is seems to be optional.Thanks manic. I didn't know SIM contact can have only 1 number. I confirm that I can add more numbers if the contact is a phone/google contact.
It's 4.1 Jelly Bean — doesn't it have the Android stock standard "People" app, or some Huawei crapware?
