  • you scratch my back and i scratch yours !

  • Titles a little misleading?

$50 voucher? It should really read "$50 in store credit"

    • What's the difference between a voucher and in-store credit?

      • They are completely different -

A voucher is a coupon for a dollar value off
A store credit is a credit for a dollar value off

The only difference I can discern is that a store credit 'may' not be transferable.

$50 off $179 sheets? Wow, that's about what they're worth

    • No, these are $95 maximum… Refer: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/280872414390?lpid=87

      • +2

Are they the same as the OP's sheets?
The ebay links to sheets which are: '35% BAMBOO 65% Cotton Natual Luxury'

The OP's site mentions "Our sheets are made from 100% bamboo fibre"

The ebay link below is more accurate at $119 (still makes this less of a bargain, but only a $10 difference compared to ebay after the $50 credit)

      • Not all Bamboo products are the same, just like saying one set of cotton sheets are the same as another, even if thread count is the same.
I only use one brand of bamboo socks because the others don’t use enough bamboo, and you get some that are actually rayon.

$199 for king size bamboo shits? You're kiddin!

    • +8

That sounds terribly awkward and excruciatingly painful.

      • +1

Probably the same experience you'd get buying from OP with the high prices.

      • +3

I don't know, those panda's look pretty happy!

        • +1

          That's true!

  • Not a bargain, these are on sale for cheaper elsewhere with free delivery.

  • +2

Clever idea getting people roped in with a $50 credit, unlucky for you rep Ozbargain is clevererererrr

  • +3

I filled it out. Good luck with your new business and don't mind all the miserable bricks in the wall.

Make the voucher $500 and I might be interested…

  • Where are these being made? locally??

  • No bargain: Cheaper elsewhere, say $95 with postage: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/280872414390?lpid=87

    • Are they the same as the OP's sheets?
The ebay links to sheets which are: '35% BAMBOO 65% Cotton Natual Luxury'

The OP's site mentions "Our sheets are made from 100% bamboo fibre"

    • They are only 35% bamboo not really a fair comparison.

  • You are a little expensive on your base price.
See this shop that has been on Ozbargain before - http://bamboobedandbath.com.au/bamboo-sheets.htm

But with the voucher it does constitute a deal.
    Good luck to you.

    “ Hahaha Just wanna laugh"

My comment has been removed. By this I meant This is no deal.

  • REP will the store off free shipping once it's open?

    • +1

"- Free shipping Australia wide on all orders over $100"

      • Thanks I didn't check the about us page lol

  • you guys way too harsh.

Give asian or white bamboo man chance.

  • Typo on the page http://bamboosheetsaustralia.com.au/1000-thread-count-sheets… to correct

    Bamboo Sheets

The beauty of bamboo sheets is that the quality of the original thread has an intrinsically long staple length. Bamboo is such a strong and durable, yet soft fabric, that is makes ideal bed sheets

    Should be that IT

Has it occured to you people that part of the point of the survey is what to stock, and he/she is still in the research stage, and that the prices there at the moment are just placeholders. I am sure they appreciate all the feedback on pricing.
Good Luck with it, good on you for being brave enough to put yourself out there unlike the people in this thread.

  • Hmmm, never tried bamboo sheets before.

If the voucher thing works out I might give them a go!

target was clearing out 1200 thread qb sheet sets for $15 each. http://shop.target.com.au/p/12-thread-count-cotton-sateen-sh… . i grabbed a whole bundle :)

The last time I got cheap cotton sheets like those (1000TC) they got used for a week and never again.
      Just horrible.
If you have never used good bamboo sheets, they are very thick (300tc is similar to 1000tc cotton), very silky, and very soft.
I can’t go back to cotton.

      • The last time I got cheap cotton sheets like those (1000TC)

they originally retailed for $198 at target. i don't think i'd refer to them as cheap

i also scored some these bamboo sheets for $10 http://shop.target.com.au/p/queen-bed-bamboo-cotton-sheet-se… . i'll see how they compare

        • "Care Instructions

Warm machine wash separately before use"

Never seen Warm as recommended for bamboooooooo before.

        • Anyone who deals with China knows retail price doesn't mean a thing :)

  • 50% off 1000TC Sheets @ DealsDirect Today…
    http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/search/1000tcmid13/cheapest-fi…

    • not all 1000TC sheets are the same, and the last ones(and only) I bought from dealsdirect were terrible

  • I'll give it a go, although last time I stocked up on 100% Bamboo Cotton sheets, I paid $129.95 for 600TC— willing to give a local business a chance though…

  • Just done. Happy to help out.

stay away from bamboo sheets. I had a set. came home from work one day and the front door of my house was kicked in. sheets were gone. police said it was pandas.

they hack bamboo sheet sellers customer databases and steal customer details. it's a crime wave. and the police are powerless to stop them as the the pandas have diplomatic immunity
