I was wondering if anyone knew when Dell is having the 30% off Ultrasharp Monitors sale? I wanted to get the Ultrasharp 2312HM, but I figure since it's so close to Christmas, Dell surely has to have a sale coming up soon right? I've seen these 30% sales pop up every few months.
Anyways, if anyone has any information on when the next sale will be on, please let me know. Thanks

I hope not… I've been holding out for the U2414H to release, but I don't think I'll be able to resist 30% off one more time.
Other than small bezel, what good is U2414H? First 24" UltraSharp going 16:9…
Planning on a triple display setup with these, and I'm not particularly interested in having to de-bezel a 2412M or three myself (I could be convinced to, however, for the right price ;-). Plus, it looks nice and slim compared to the U2412M - I basically like it because it's marrying the best design traits of the S2(x)40L's with the quality of the Ultrasharp line. I'll have to wait for reviews to see if it pans out this way, of course.
Unlike a lot of others I find on the internet, I don't have much of a problem with 16:9 - the 120 extra lines would be nice, but it's not really a prerequisite (though maybe I just need to be enlightened).

Can I just asked how you found that information? Do you work for Dell or know someone who does?
When I bought mine I simply asked for the 30% off. I'd recommend jumping on their sales chat tool and asking for the discount when the sale is on if it doesn't go to 30%

Hmm… this didn't work for me…
I first asked them if they can advise when they will be having a sale and they told me they couldn't provide this info (pretty obvious but worth asking anyway lol)
Then i said that there was a sale of the U2713HM for $559 and they immediately reply saying they can not honour past deals and that the sale was for $580 =(
Needless to say, i have to wait for the next 30% sale… anyone have a clue when that is?
Oh you just missed their Cyber Sale a couple of weeks ago! I didn't get 30% off but they offered me 15% off for the U2312HM, which is better than nothing i guess.
The U2412M went down to $220 or something, but the extra $60 didn't seem worth an extra inch, so i decided to get the 23inch version.

Dell is going to have a 3 day Cyber Sale 19-21 November (as part of ClickFrenzy). Maybe they'll have their usual LCD monitor sale then.
