Best 'Load and Go' travel card?

Good afternoon everybody,

I have a friend who is leaving for Europe early next week and there wouldn't be enough time to apply and get a 28 Degrees card or Citibank Debit card.

What is the best travel card out there ? She has an account with Commonwealth bank and is looking at this travel card by them

I'm sure there is a better alternative out there but I have little knowledge or experience with loaded travel cards.

Thank you !

  • You might get a Citi Debit card within 1 week. No credit checks or anything to slow the process down. She should try regardless.

    • I might suggest that to her. Excuse my naivety, the idea is to have your money in your account and use the Citi Debit card overseas with no ATM withdrawal fee, no foreign currency conversion fee and better conversion rates than the big 4 banks ? Are there any fees ?

Regardless, are you aware of any load and go travel cards ?

  • Why not look at the actual Load and Go Travel Card

I don't know if it's what you're looking for but here's the link:
