If you are going to the $2 shop for a $1 present you are in for a world of disappointment… lol

Why not buy a $1 Scratch Ticket and be done with it?

Or make an anon. donation to the Festivus fund.

Search ebay for the $1 buy it now items. You will likely be surprised at the wide selection.

    • How exactly do you do that?

      • Just search "new" and then sort by price + postage lowest to high and find the $1

        • You want to select "worldwide" and "Buy it Now" as well.

Other good terms are pcs and numbers

        • +3

The question is: Will it arrive before x'mas?

  • tmart…

but it might not arrive in time.

You can get pretty good packets of lollies at K-mart for $1. There's this awesome party mix of fruit filled with sherbets and sherbet sticks etc

  • You might wanna try Dx.com and check there $1 section.

Kmart has $1 bubble mega bubble wand
    http://www.kmart.com.au/product/mega-bubble-wand/122276

My 2 year old loves them, maybe older people would enjoy too, rated for 3 years+ that suits pretty much everyone

    • Those bubble wands are great for cheap fun throwaway presents. I wish somebody would buy me one!

if you're creative enough, you can even make a chupa chups flower with clear wrapping and some ribbon.

  • Make a drink coaster from 20 x 5c coins.
The superglue may cost more though.

0.00167 bit coins. ( or there abouts)

    • Good for 16.7 transaction fees.

A couple of good ideas here :) don't know if they would like an organic carrot..

I bought a $1 scratchie, couldnt get a price match at officeworks cos the serial number was different.

Now I need to get another one for the wife to bring. Quite like the mega bubble wand or the chupa chups flower idea.

Any more ideas? Xmas party is in a months time, wonder if ebay or tmart worth a shot?

    • +1

You'll be kicking yourself if that scratchie is a winner!

      • +8

Yeah, scratch it yourself first. Then give it to them.

        • +1

Or buy the 'joke' scratchies on ebay, they're always a winner.
