    what is this? witchcraft?

    • THIS! Is is a tool of the gods? I'm in awe!

      • +26

I got a plastic one and serving pineapple fried rice in the pineapple when you cut it like that just demands respect from your dinner guests.
My food still sucks, but the respect is there.

      • You're meant to say "Deus ex machina" :)

        • +1

More like "Machina de deus", but Latin being as it is, I'm sure that's grammatically woeful. ;)

Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur.

        • Nah, I wasn't translating what KLoNe said. It was more of a reference to his "Deus Ex" (awesome game) avatar :)

  • +1

Just grabbed one as a back up. Thanks!
No problem about wastage. Use a spoon to scoop out the rest.
I put it in the freezer. Heaven!

  • Working now - thanks rep! Ordered.

the best part of the pineapple is the core …. this is genius

  • just imagine if you could use this on a pig

with a pineapple in its mouth

  • got white plastic one last time around $2, haven't try yet.

  • "Removes perfectly formed rings while leaving the core in the shell"

    1. hold pineapple core with hand by inserting hand into pineapple 2. pineapple hands!

    Hi Rep,
Can you do special on the apple corer peeler too pls?

  • got one - not sure why - prob going to give it to someone for xmas

  • Removes perfectly formed rings while leaving the core in the shell.
    Quick and easy.
    Perfectly shaped rings.
Removes the core form [sic] the rings.

I see a continuous spiral in the picture, not rings, but it still looks like an interesting device :-)

    • After you accurately slice that spiral at every 360° of rotation, you will end up with rings.

But of course, you are intelligent to work that out.

      • Of course, but it means, as I was saying, that the statement indicating the slicer "Removes perfectly formed rings" isn't accurate ;-)

    very useful outdoor gadget

I don't know, but when I pack my outdoor gear, say to go camping or for a hike, I don't usually carry multiple pineapples.

    • +7

Pineapple spiralling is the only reason I go camping.

    • +4

Camp in a pineapple plantation and I'm sure it'll be the most useful gadget you brought with you.

  • Excellent - bought a couple to use as stucking stuffers for Christmas.

  • Very nice deal, Banggood. Thanks. Regarding the material, I think stainless steel makes the tool much thinner, thus sharper and easier to cut than the plastic counterparts. As the photos show, it cuts all the good part of pineapple out in minimal time, leaving the core, eyes and skin behind. Brilliant. Sure it comes out as one long perfectly cut spiral, but if you use your knife and make one cut straight down any one side, the spiral cut becomes individual rings. These would be great on my BBQ. I found an stainless steel product made by OXO that costs over 4x the asking price here. So, I think this is a great deal. In for one!

    • Good point.
It looks the same and is nearly the same price isn't it. Well spotted.

  • nooooooo, i missed out

  • Hey Guys,

In case you missed out, i found this the cheapest on ebay.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Easy-Kitchen-Tool-Stainless-Steel…

  • Got one - works a treat. I reckon I've got my money's worth just on novelty factor alone.

With the link from bargain4sujit it looks like this seller is Banggood. I really saved about 29 cents on the corer so not that much of a deal.

  • Has everyone received your order yet? It has been three weeks and still waiting for mine.

    • Yes - nearly a week ago

      • Damn still haven't got mine. :(
I forgot about it too! Untilled I saw a pineapple at the super market!
