  • incl shipping?

The link OP showed us indicates that there is free shipping, so all you would be paying for this product would be the price listed on this deal.

  • does anyone have experience with these?

I had one bought from Chinese web site(can't remember which: DX? Tmart? or others)
that is so out of range (always measure 34c-39c)

    • I bought one, constantly read 36-39 degrees. Realised it was faulty when my wife got a temp of 42 while pregnant and the Kogan read 38 and change.

Raised a ticket with Kogan that it was faulty, they sent me another one - without me needed to send the other one back, and this one reads perfectly.

  • I have this. They're okay and cheaper at fleabay.

  • This bring back some memory when everybody needed to check our body temperature before step into office during SARS.

Bought a similar one on ebay a while back… It was constantly 0.4-0.5 degree off… Which is a huge margin of error when you consider 37 is ok and 38 being no!

Just be weary of these cheap chinese knock offs…

Ended up buying a Braun model used at hospitals… $45 for piece of mind :)

    Got this one while back:
    http://www.amazon.com/Braun-Thermoscan-Thermometer-Technolog…

My kids often get high temperature and Chinese cheapie was just not accurate enough (ended up using under arm oldie which is pain with little kids). Braun is great and with extra caps I got at the same time, it's been going strong for 4-5 years on original batteries (AAs - not those stupid button cells). Look for IRT4520 model (AAs) sold in US vs IRT4020 (button cells) sold in AUS: http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/product.asp?id=31748

  • in this case, looks like the Braun 4520 is a better alternative
