This sounds a bit like the Charizard 3DS XL in Japan where you enter a lottery to win the right to buy it. Although at least for that one, there's no Facebook liking involved.

they may well ha ve planned the comp and set aside the consoles b4 u even ordered. its sorta like a band setting aside tix for ppl who queue up on the day which gives ppl a chance who didnt wardial ticketek at 9am for the 2mins they were avbailable.
So i sneaked a peak at their stock levels and there are LOADS of PS4's in stores still…
