Guild Wars 2 is currently having a 40% discount on the Digital Edition; selling for USD 29.99 which would be around 33 AUD which is the cheapest I have seen so far (I paid USD 60 when it came out last year).

IMHO it is probably one of the best MMORPG out there and with no subscription fees (yes, I'm looking at you WoW), it's a great "investment". It has been rated very well on many of the gaming sites. Attached one of the links below.

    Prettiest MMO, but don't roll necro unless you want to have a hard time finding a pick up group for dungeons. A lot of my MMO veteran friends no longer play it because of the class imbalances but I'm pretty casual when it comes to MMOs and GW2 is just too easy on the eyes for me not to enjoy.

    I play GW2 every day as a Guardian or Warrior, best MMO out at the moment and it plays like an action adventure game with dodging and running around like a headless chicken being your best defense.

    Worth every dollar for the amount of hours you get from the game for sure.

        It is, but not as good. I played solo for a good 9 months and found playing with a guild more fulfilling

    People have left this game in great numbers, would invest time elsewhere. With no planned expansion things get old fast.

    Also if you miss this deal keys can be bought from most cdkey online shops for around $35US all year round.

    Make sure you get onto a very high populated world, and find an active guild and you will get outstanding value from the game! I'm sure this year will have a hit in populations due to new MMOs coming out but it's still the fun game that it is. I have played over 1000 hours and still aren't bored :)
