Is there anywhere I can buy old Humble Bundles?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know whether there is anywhere on the net where one can buy old/past HumbleBundles? I am trying to get some games for the kids for Christmas but buying them outside the bundles would be beyond my budget.

In particular I am looking for the bundles containing the following games:

Darksiders 1 and 2
Neighbours from Hell
World of Goo
Tropico 3
Metro 2033
Wallace and Format
Sam and Max
Mirrors Edge
Europa Universalis 3
Journey of a roach

Those were in the bundles I missed - so if I can buy them anywhere, please let me know.
Also,if anyone has any spare keys they do not need because they already had the game in the bundles, I would be happy to have them/buy them - it would be much appreciated.

Comments

  • Only way is from people who bought those bundles previously, haven't redeemed theirs and are willing to part with them.

    • Beware of scammers who arrange a trade with you, make you send your codes to them first, and then disappear into fat air.

  • No. But yeah, you can try to buy/trade/get codes off people I guess? Steam sale is on atm, so you might see flash deals on some of these.

  • Hmm, that's too bad.I guess all I can do is hope some people don't need or want their codes and that the Steam sale comes up with some of them.
    Thanks for the quick replies.

  • steam trade forums

    • its against the rules on steam forums to trade humble bundles

  • The metro 2033 code is unfortunate in the fact that it is tied to another 2 games, 1 code unlocked all 3 games, i already had metro but not the other 2. (so my metro 2033 code got wasted into the void…)
This may be an issue with others in that list as well. ;(

Keys from the origin humble bundle i still have (none of the codes are tied with multiple games):

    Steam keys:
    Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
    Mirror's Edge
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 -Uprising

    Origin Keys:
    Dead Space
    Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
    Crysis 2 Maximum Edition
    Medal of Honor
    Mirror's Edge

I think I've got a spare THQ bundle still. I can give it to you for free. Can you PM here? If yes, give me email address.

    • *Gasp!* If he doesn't want it I'd love it!

But I can't PM you, when I try it says "User StickMan does not accept new conversations."

  • Thanks for the comments everybody.Looks like Shayne3 beat me to the THQ bundle - if anybody still has a copy please let me know - I certainly would want it as the kids will love it.Please PM me or email to my name at techie.com as I can only check Ozbargain late in the day or in the evening.

P.S. Can anyone recommend cheap, good puzzle/thinking games for steam such as cogs, critical mass, puddle, portal etc.? Thanks for your help.

    • Maybe try some of the bundles at http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/

They are also 25% off tonight.

Might be worth checking out Gamefly as well http://digital.gamefly.com/#!/pc/collection

    • Sent PM. :)

Steam sale is on now, Xmas sale coming up. Cheap indie puzzle games are good purchases for <$3. Get the portals definitely.

    • Ah, sorry, I didn't mean to take it off your hands! I only meant if you didn't want or need it. I haven't redeemed Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War GOTY from the bundle yet so if you'd like it I can send it to you.

EDIT: Also, if you're after puzzle games I can also give you Spacechem because I feel guilty :(

      • Considering these games are for his kids perhaps an 8 year old war RTS game might not be suitable.

        • That`s okay - they are a bit older and one of them is a teenager. We do however look at ratings and check out games before so some games they can only play under supervision and not hours on end. Too much violence is not too good for kids - they need to have a break. Which is why there are two Steam accounts - one with games that require supervision and one for them which has games like Portal etc.

By the way, has anybody got any experience with Q.U.B.E.?

@Shayne3: no need to feel guilty. It is all good. Thank you.

        • SpaceChem game and DLC codes sent. I hope you and the kids enjoy them :)

  • Thanks.Unfortunately, cannot see messages when logging in from this work HP touchpad. Will check when I get home tonight. Thanks for the recommendation - played Portal 2 and got Portal when it was $2 on handful. Anything else you would recommend (non-shooters) -any experience with Overlord? Anybody played Skynations before - looks like Minecraft in the air?

    • Overlord is pretty good fun. Fine for kids. Gets a bit repetitive for my liking but my wife loved it.

Thanks - I might get it then. I hope your wife does not read that you use her as measurestick for kid games. ;-) Would get me in trouble. Thank you.
