Best Value Paintballing in WA

Years ago I went paintballing in Bali and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd love to go again here in W.A. but not sure how to find the best value. I've been caught out before buying those discounted vouchers from the guys who set up in shopping centres, only to find out that the bulk of the cost is not entry, but the actual paintballs.

So can anyone with some experience give me some info on which companies have the best grounds, best equipment, and best value overall cost for admission, and paintballs.

What are the different options?
I've heard of WASP Paintball and IPG were the ones trying to get me in the shops. They said 10 entry tickets for $80, and paintballs were $20 for 100 or $65 for 500.

What else is out there?
EDIT: Found a little bit of info on whirlpool: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1485253 but the thread is 3 years old.

I've been to three paintball places around Perth. WASP Canning Vale, Dash/MOP Noble Falls and Action Paintball in Serpentine. Out of the three, I'd rate Noble Falls 3rd, Canning Vale 2nd and Serpentine 1st. Action in Serpentine is a little bit different as they don't do the whole "buy 10 tokens and just buy paintballs when you get there" that you see in shopping centres. You have a higher initial cost(I think deposit is around 40 dollars by memory), but the paintballs end up being much cheaper. I like to waste paint, so I usually purchase around a thousand which after deposit was 60 bucks. The ground at Action are also pretty good, the only downfall is that it was around a 80 minute drive each way for me. They have the same sort of deal as most places where if you organise a group you get benefits for yourself and they have a pretty decent canteen to buy some snacks/lunch from.

I think 1000 paintballs + gear for $100 bucks(if you pay a $40 deposit beforehand) is about the best deal you'll get for a decent amount of paintballs. Most other places charge 20-30 to get you in the door and then 60-70 for 500 paintballs, which isn't that great value wise. The other benefit of buying more paint is any excess at the end can be wasted at point-blank.

Packages on their site if you pay deposit are:
400 balls and gear for $50,
1000 balls and gear for $100,
1500 balls and gear for $150 etc.

    Compared to WASP, who offer 100 for 35, 300 for 60, 400 for 75 and 600 for 95, it's a much better deal.

Anyway, check out their site and see what you think.

  • Cheers man very helpful, will check em out :)
EDIT: Just checked em out, they look awesome, and cheap! Admission, gear & gun rental and 400 paintballs for $50 is pretty good I think :D Thanks again!
