From experience, AYCE (all you can eat) group deals is a real waste. Went to a really nice looking Brazillian churrasco and was so excited to eat as much meat and stuff as I could. Problem was it wasn't self serve :( We had to wait and wait and wait for food and it really did seem that everyone else was getting way better service (they probably paid full dollar). I even asked the waiter for some more and he nodded and walked off and eventually back for a small serving of meat. We all left hungry and unsatisfied after 3 hours of being there. Mind you we were actually first ones to be seated for the evening (hungry bargainers!).

Anyways, point of the story is, make sure this place is self serve for this deal because I have heard of stories for sushi places similar to my experience above.

      Goodluck!

Which churrasco place is self-serve? All customers have to wait for the meats to come to their table in a churrasco.

        • Woops, my bad. I was thinking of sushi at the time. I meant to say the servers weren't doing the normal rounds around all the tables. It seemed they came out selectively and served particular people/groups in some way. I don't know which is the norm as I have only been to a couple.

Yeah, this doesn't seem like sushi train/self-serve, from some of the comments on Urbanspoon. http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/70/1691304/restaurant/Sydney/Sus… I'd avoid.

I had an all-you-can-eat voucher for Sakura (which is sushi train) in Ashfield once, that was good. But gotta be careful with some of these deals.

  • all those restrictions in the t&cs look worrying

  • LOL, they serve Japanese to be eaten.

    "BYO cockage" could be interesting

  • Max of one sashimi dish = Neg

  • no deal, too many restrictions

  • Too many negative experiences for this too be a good deal.

  • Do they charge anything for 3 year old and 5 year old kids?

  • Time Limit, One dish at a time and you they can take as long as they like to serve each dish. No Deal!
