  • They check. You get The annual pass at the first park you turn up to. They check your ID and take a photo which appears on the pass.

  • You can currently get the same pass for $81 if you have an entertainment book or myfun have the same for $90 too. Neither have the white christmas ticket like the locals pass does though.

  • Are you seriously going to be travelling to the Gold Coast for those theme parks more than once in the space of a year if you're not a local though?

Because if not, and you don't care about having unlimited entry, you can go to http://www.themeparkticketsdirect.com.au/infiniterewards and get an adult 3 for 3 pass for $76.49 (15% off RRP).

Here's the description copied from the site:

The 3 for 3 Pass provides one day (single) entry to 3 parks (Movie World, Sea World and Wet ‘n’ Wild) over 3 consecutive days from first use. Validity commences from the first day of visit and can be redeemed at any of the 3 parks. Customers can only visit one park each over the 3 day period. ( eg cannot visit Movie World 3 times).

The terms of use are obviously more limiting than the VIP pass but if you're only considering a one off visit it's worth considering.

    • I'm not too sure, but once you're inside the park, they have a "come back again another day" ticket you buy on the way out or at CS desk - think it's about $20.

Infinite rewards also have discounted myfun gift cards - 20% off a $50 0r $100 card. So for $80, you can buy a non-local vip pass and have approx $11 credit left to spend inside the park (not that it'll go far)

With all the cheap tix to the theme parks, they are soooo crowded which means less of an experience (longer queues). They're sold cheap on the basis that once you're inside - you'll buy stuff at inflated prices.

  • firstly thanks to all for above- infinite rewards deal 3 for 3 seems like the best idea…$77 each (adult or kid same price)..secret sale page no longer works at myfun..but if you do the spin a wheel thing and buy your tix separately (cause you only ever win $10)- can get them for $80 each for vip pass via shop a docket page- unlimited entry 6 months ..http://www.dreamworld.com.au/Visitor-Information/SAD.aspx if you prefer dreamworld and WWW…any better delas??
