  • $548 flying Qantas thru Expedia Brazil. Feb 8 SYD - BKK Feb 16 BKK- SYD. That's just one example of many. Try searching ITA Matrix using Rio de Janeiro as the sales city.

  • Sorry i need BKK to SYD return not SYD to BKK return.

  • Try the airline websites. AirAsia Malaysian air Vietnam air Emirates Qantas Thai air. Scoot. Scoot BKK TO SYD and Airasia SYD TO BKK might be good price with reasonable connections. Look for sales.

  • Look at Royal Brunei global site. Some people find no alcohol rule not to their liking. Maybe the new dreamliner will be on the long haul sector from Brunei to Melbourne. Sorry realise you want to go BKK to Syd - I would look at expedia.com.br. think the current QF sale finishes soon, check for date on website or Bestflights.com.au. Some dates in Feb will be dear because of school holidays an students returning to Au.

    • +1

I wouldn't fly the dream-liner in economy, ghastly 17" wide seats. Go for an airline running a 777 in a 9 across config, far roomier.

      • if you look at dreamline details on Royal Brunei global site front page, the 787 dreamliner has the nine seat configuration in Y. Not 10 like Etihad or is it Emirates? Which have 10 - ghastly 3 -4 - 3 that is squashy

        • Ok, I think you have mixed up two different planes, the plane you are talking about in a boeing 777, which is comfortable is a 9 abreast (3-3-3) layout, while squishy in a 10 abreast (3-4-3) layout. The Boeing 787 which is what I was talking about is comfy in an 8 abreast (2-4-2) layout, while not so in a 9 abreast (3-3-3) layout.

Both the 787 and 777 with an extra seat added to the original spec are the exact same, you get a seat which is 1.5-2 inches less and aisles which are the same size, if not narrower than an actually seat (17"!!!).
