  • Good deal, though I can't say I agree that it's better than just buying refills.

When genuine refills are on special they are about $15/16 for 4 brushheads.

    • Selling them on the inkjet printer model now - brush is cheap, refills cost a fortune.

  • Good stocking filler

  • Is the brush strong?

I got a brush from aldi but if you pressed it against your teeth too hard it stopped

    • First off, you shouldn't brush hard at all. In fact a more expensive version of Oral-B toothbrush warns you and stops when you brush hard. Brushing hard wears your teeth out, and in the long run it's counter productive. If teeth has gone yellow, don't brush hard, instead you can get them whitened by a dentist, if you prefer.

      • Thanks but I don't care about that.

        • They don't come in varying softness if that's what your asking. But yes, the bristles are reasonably strong

    • I got a brush from aldi but if you pressed it against your teeth too hard it stopped

That's intentional. It's a failsafe to prevent you from pressing it hard, because that's not good for your gums. You're only meant to brush gently.

      • Thanks lostn but I said above I don't care about that.

I want a brush that doesn't do it so if you know what ones do it and what ones don't that would be more helpful.

        • Well the two major brands Oral B and Philips both do this, so I doubt there's any brush that won't do it. If there are your options are limited.

I'd say stick to a manual toothbrush.
