(First off, I would like to say that I've looked through the rules and haven't found anything regarding advertising on the forums. But if this does break the rules/guidelines, feel free to delete without hesitation.)
I am Dagmar/Jebus and was a long time lurker of OzBargain before finally making an account a few months back. For years I've wanted to create an online gaming community which I have done so. Somewhere down the track, I had the idea of making it a business as well, but mainly sticking to the community. It is called Esio Entertainment. I got the name Esio from Star Wars Galaxies when I first played it back when I was 12 years old (I'm 20 now). I was trying to name my character and ended up with LightJebus Esio. The name Esio stuck throughout the years.
The community started off with just me and a few friends and gradually expanded after meeting fellow online gamers. About 6 months back, I finally went and bought a Garry's Mod server to host Trouble In Terrorist Town on. It was quite successful until real life hit me in the ass and the server was shut down. Only in the last few weeks was I able to relaunch the server and it has been getting a steady and healthy population every night.
Why am I posting here? I have been trying to figure out where/how I can advertise Esio Entertainment without it being an annoyance. So I created an Ebay account and sold a few items on there. After preparing a list of OzBargains, I went to create a deal and found out that in order to post an Ebay deal, my seller account would need to be a "Power Seller". Defeated, I left OzBargain out of my community/business. Once I realised how much a rip off Ebay is, I left it and went to Facebook to advertise 'my' products.
Now that the business side of things has calmed down, I would like to take this chance to invite all OzBargain gamers to the Esio community. I/We currently only have the one Garry's Mod server at the moment, but in the weeks leading up to the new year, I am hoping of hosting more servers on Battlefield 4, DayZ, Arma 3, ect. Hey mate, I game a few times a week, mostly Dota2 though. Ive been keen to have a crack at Trouble in Terrorist town, might give it a crack over the weekend.
