Universal adapter

Hi all

Going to thailand next week and looking for an affordable but reliable universal adapter! Got to be reliable cuz I dont want it to blow up my electronics.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

  • Thailand is 220V 50Hz (we are 230V 50Hz). This is close enough that everything will 'just work'. All you need is a peice of metal to get the plug to fit in the hole, and anything will do for this.

Most hotels will have generic sockets that Australian plugs will fit into anyway.

  • also, rather than buy many adapters, buy 1 adapter and take a 4 outlet powerboard.
cheap travel adapters are available at discount stores eg. Reject shop, $2 shop.
