As mentioned in our previous updates, PennyTel services were undergoing a review.
We would like to let you know that this review is now completed and the following changes will be made to the PennyBroadband plans effective from the next billing cycle commencing from the 1st January 2014.
We are confident that the plans still offer great value and are very competitive. The reason for the pricing changes is that these services were previously priced below cost and incurred significant losses to the business. To ensure the long term viability of the PennyTel brand and services, the pricing had to be adjusted to reflect true costs.

Stay with the PennyBroadband service
Good choice! You do not need to do anything – the updated PennyBroadband pricing will automatically come into effect from 1st January 2014.
Cancel the PennyBroadband service
If you prefer to cancel your PennyBroadband service, you can do so by sending a cancellation request via our online form.
We will waive cancellation fees for those currently in contract on PennyBroadband services if you send in a cancellation request before 1st January 2014.
To move your service, contact your chosen provider directly and request them to churn your DSL service using your phone number. This process typically takes approximately 3 business days so you have plenty of time to make alternate arrangements before the price change comes into effect.
If you have other services with PennyTel that are undergoing a change, you will receive a separate email about those services.

Didn't think prices could rise within the contract period, but maybe that's just my wishful thinking.
