  Is this a real Japanese import? I bought a can of Suntory (non-premium) from Dan Murphy's a few months ago and it was brewed in China and it tasted like water.

  remembering 2 weeks ago, traveled with discounted jetstar to Osaka, drank Suntory every night with all different kind of food found on convenience store. good times…

  Awesome beer and yes real Jap beer in Australia is hard to find 99% is brewed outside of Japan and is totally different shame the shipping to Sydney is so high.

    Sure is an awesome beer and yes being in the business the last couple of months there has been less and less of the real japanese beer coming into Australia which is a shame.

    There is still a few nice beers from japan on the market one of my favourite is the hitachino white ( orange & parley ) and coedo beniaka ( sweet potato beer ). if you get a chance give them a go both great beers.

    It's like saying over $100k for a car? If it's a Ferrari (not necessarily saying Suntory Premium Malt is the Ferrari of beers) it's still cheap!

  My number one beer when in Japan. Went on the Suntory beer factory tour in Osaka a few years ago, ahhh sweet memories.
