Never received The Good Guys $40 gift card?

Hi all,

Did all those who attempted to buy games from the Good Guys massive clearance back in November already receive their $40 gift card? I checked my email and I don't see anything, with the latest correspondence being on the 4th saying I should expect it 'later in the week'. Just wanted to make sure before I try to contact them.

    Good of them to fufill my order I guess, it was a clearance sale afterall, they prob had to buy like games at 4 times the price to sell to us for 10 bucks.

    Thanks for the replies everyone. Searched my mail thoroughly but still nothing. Here's hoping the ozbargain christmas fairies convince them to give me a little something extra for the added inconvenience hey?

      • I know you're joking, but way to ignore the part where I gave them my money for 2 weeks, failed to receive my order and was explicitly promised compensation through a gift card.

  • I've received the refund for choosing to cancel the order but been chasing them up about not receiving the credit for a few weeks now with emails (also received that original message saying they'd send it by the end of last week) & phone calls but they say they can't find my order despite me suppling the no. & I'm still waiting/trying. It's gotten to the point where I'm persisting out of annoyance >-(

        1300466348 they are nice enough on the phone but it's still been frustrating. The latest thing I've been told today is that it can take up to 48 hours to generate the unique credit code so I will see and contact them again after.
