V.Me Is it Worth Signing Up for?

Hi,

I don't much about this V.Me thing Visa is offering. Apart from there seeming to be some good deals if you pay via that method. I heard it is like paypal? Is it worth signing up for if I already have paypal? What does it offer that paypal doesn't?

    Definitely worth signing up as you can only purchase deals such as the free $10 Myer voucher with v.me.

    I attached a debit card to my account so it's like another way to access those funds. There are no costs to keeping a V.me account so yeah nothing to lose and maybe deals to snag.

    It doesn't offer the ability to receive money like PayPal so that's a minus.
    One if the big pluses for me though is every time I use my Visa card (anywhere not just through v.me) I get an alert via email. It's a good security feature I think. (You can turn alerts off if you want though)
