Electronic Arts Inc. today announced that EA SPORTS™ FIFA World, a new free-to-play, downloadable game for PC, is now entering Open Beta in Brazil and Russia. Featuring the award-winning EA SPORTS FIFA HD console gameplay, FIFA Ultimate Team, and Seasons, EA SPORTS FIFA World delivers a fun, authentic and immersive football experience that is synonymous with the FIFA franchise. With 600 clubs from over 30 officially licensed leagues, gamers will have access to their favorite players and clubs, including the officially licensed Russian Football Premier League, 20 officially licensed football clubs from Brazil, and new to the Open Beta – the Bundesliga of Germany.

After a successful Closed Beta that saw more than 120,000 registrants, EA SPORTS FIFA World now boasts new features developed based on community feedback from four Closed Beta sessions. Topping the list of development additions include gamepad controller support, improved matchmaking, and a Social Hub where fans can share in-game content with friends playing FIFA World.

“EA SPORTS FIFA World is designed to be easy to pick up and play for all fans, and we are encouraged by the feedback and reaction to the game to date,” said EA SPORTS FIFA World Producer Alex Grimbley. “We will continue to listen to our fans as we move into the Open Beta phase starting today in Brazil and Russia, and as we continue to develop plans to release FIFA World in additional markets.”

      Buy? It's F2P.

      But in any regards, EA Games haven't been going to Steam for awhile now. I believe the only ones that still go on Steam are The Sims 3 expansions.

        Because they're always free to play. A bargain is something that normally costs money but is reduced in cost.

    Mod, please remove if not suitable.

    I play Fifa 14 on Android, also free, you have to pay for tournaments and so on, but the actual game, for casual players, is exactly the same.

    For me this is a very good deal and bargain, I only play occasionally, and this will update the available games every week (based on real world) and they always include your chosen favorite team

    So I get what I want from Fifa 14 for free without having to pay for it!

    Bedsides, I don't check the forums, and I am sure many don't as well, so if this was posted in a forum I would've missed out.

    That's how many game publishers are starting to release their games nowadays… free to play, and then require payment for some of the features.
