      major bargain for me. suspended my Anytime membership for January, saved $48, and the Goodlife gym is only 1km further to travel too. Good result as far as Im concerned :)

    Was excited to find one perk to being a Vodafone customer… then found out the nearest gym was 350km away. Heading back to the disappointment corner now…

    Has anyone managed to register and receive the sms? I've tried many times and still no sms :(

      I registered yesterday, no SMS yet.

      However, I noticed that this January has 5 Thursdays + 4 Saturdays.
      "Every Thursday and Saturday throughout January" would mean 9 times and not 8. Perhaps it does not start until the next week?
      Or someone can't count :-)

    Because vodafone's stupid system doesn't work, I hope we could show them the Vodafone network on the top left of the phone to tell them that we're a member.

    I'm a bit reluctant/nervous as I've never ever been to a gym so for those who are in Sydney, do you recommend the Shelley St gym or Martin Place?

      Never been to the one at Shelley St but the gym at Martin Place is like a maze. I a lot of turns to places and rooms. However, the Martin Place gym is the best one GoodLife has. The staff are very friendly. A complimentary fitness assessment is given upon your visit based on whatever your goal is.

    Went to gym today. Just had to mention Vodafone and nobody even bothered looking at the SMS.

    Had to endure 20min sales pitch where the guy was trying to get me to sign up straight away. And the deal was 30 days free membership if I sign up straight away… which was already free thanks to the Vodafone deal. WFT???

    And if you join the "New Member Contribution" is not applicable thanks to the Vodafone deal.

    Keep getting phone calls from the Goodlife Health Club. This annoys me. At the start I thought it was a friendly nice gym. Now they don't give a sh*t about you.

    I've been to the Martin Place one twice now - no problems. Simple form sign up when I showed up, no sales pitch and no calls. All I've had is a few emails. The Martin Place one is a bit of a maze but it's decent sized and has a pool (haven't been though). I'll go check out the Parramatta one tonight.
