Try Coles, Bondi Junction if you are in NSW. $25/kg for cooked prawns produce of Australia or $9.99 from Thailand.

I got extra large raw King Prawns from Coles this time last year for around $23.00 kg. Asked for a frozen box which they gave me, contained 3kg. Cooked them up Xmas Eve and chilled em. Went back to get another box but sadly all gone. Being in WA I usually I get King Prawns from Carnarvon but these were fantastic value and were really sweet prawns.

prawns are 'scavenger' sea animals, they eat the crap junk from the ocean floor and should not be eaten.
