I am looking at buying a heat pump hotwater system that gives me REC's - I am not assigning these to the installer so i will be selling them separately. Anyone had experience with this? or any advice tips etc

its easier to just sell them to the installer. a lot of paperwork involved when selling the privately. the buyer has to be on this list : http://www.orer.gov.au/publications/agents.html. I would recommend you call around and find a buyer first.
