Where is the best place to watch New year fireworks in Perth?

Hi all

I know its late..really late..but jus in case if some one is on ozbargain and in perth..can u suggest a good place to watch the fireworks today- tonight i mean ..URGENT !! :)

    New Years Eve:

    • Mandurah New Years Eve Celebrations (fireworks at 9pm and midnight)
    • The Vines Resort & Country Club NYE Spectacular (fireworks & booking req.)
    • Rockingham NYE (fireworks)
    • NYE at Cannington Greyhounds (fireworks)
    • Bunbury Trotting Club (Fireworks)
    • Exmouth Beach Party (fireworks)

    New Years Day:

    • City of Canning New Years Day Celebrations (fireworks 8pm)

    read in a website that Rockingham is best..a friend told me gloucester park is best…no personal experience..

    Maybe Crown will have fireworks tonight? For my personal experience Mill Point Rd(near Michelle Freeway side), is the best place to watch fireworks, enjoy.

    for the crown, should we book a table inside the hotel to watch the fireworks or be @ the casino..or can we watch from the car park?

    also any idea wat time will that be? 9 or 12?
    and mil pt road in south perth right? Mill Point Rd
    South Perth, WA 6151 — wer exactly would that be? and wat time?

    i cant find any info on google..any help much appreciated.//tnx

      Yeah, u can walk along with South Perth ESPL, then u will see a jetty, just find a seat and wait, for the casino fireworks, u can watch it from car park, and maybe u can go now. Have a great time, and happy new year to every OZBargainer!

      I reckon somewhere close to the waca ground should be best.
      As someone mentioned earlier Gloucester park is close by it.

    For Crown's fireworks I would think anyway on the foreshore either on the Burswood side or the East Perth side between the Causeway and Windan bridge would be pretty good - or even on the bridges themselves.

    (Only place I know is Cannington Greyhounds..)

    @ all thanks so much for ur comments..

    i went to the mills point..south perth..it was not that crowded..had a great view of the fireworks..and had a great time over all..

    the fireworks lasted for ten mins.. it was peacefull and happy :)

    Oz bargain Rocks!! really..ozbargain is better than google !!!
