Just a reminder that tech4u is megabuy in disguise, check that 1.3 / 5 rating on productreview as well as all the megabuy horror stories over at whirlpool.

    • -3

They have actually improved as far as im aware.

      • Even if that were true (not saying it isn't), it wouldn't make one bit of difference to the endless line of people who have already been dicked around beyond belief by this mob and all their facades.

They could now be the best most honest company in Australia but the ripples in their wake will never go away.

        • I can only say from my experience. Ordered an item and it was out of stock. They Refunded me in 2 days

That's the major issue with megabuy and all their clones, they show supplier stock in a lot of cases and there just isn't any stock. Sometimes weeks go by with no communication with the purchaser before a refund and then that can take some time as well according to some.

You were quite lucky to get a refund that quickly.

Just noticed the tech4u rep has had their account banned with no expiry, wonder what they did? Checked the megabuy rep, not banned. Intriguing.

        • @foobar - That account was banned due to being a ghost account of MegaBuy.

Rep or not you're still only allowed one OzBargain account.

          Dodgy! Dodgy! Dodgy!

I've been stung by their take the money and shut up trick as have others here on OzB.

Do you really want to support a company who's willing to target and rip off members here?

According to the review below, it can not be used when charging.
