Hey Rep, is this a class 10 or class 4 card, the image on your website indicates it is class 4, not class 10 as indicated in the title of your post

    • -3

It's Class 10. They had the same sale last week.

      • Sorry, it should be class 4

  • Can you add other things? or is the 3$ flat rate shipping only for that item?

    • Yes, you can. Normal delivery charge applies.

  • +14

shipping fees kill the deal, and there is no store in sydney
why you charge $3 for shipping while you can ship it in normal envelop for 70c

    • Agree!

    • Yep, that makes it a no purchase for me unfortunately. Was looking for 3-4 of these so the $3 isn't too bad but still..

      • +1

It's a limit of one per customer.

        • Oh snap, somehow managed to miss that. Makes it even more pointless. :/

    • +1

maybe $2.30 is for labour fees

    • Agree.. With $3 shipping to Sydney, No bargain in this deal.

    MB-MP8GB/CN looks like a class 10 . wrong picture ?

  • So If I send a bank transfer payment through today, thats all thats required? It will only get to you tomorrow i thought with all bank transfers?

    • Yes, you are right.

  • Tried to order it from an iPhone, but the site didn't work right when trying to register as a new user.

So then switched over to my laptop when I realised it was Class 4, not Class 10! Oh well.

Edit: In fact, look at the Revisions. Deal originally mentioned Class 10.

  • If the postage is lesser then this is a good deal!
Otherwise can buy this item for less than $5.49

  • Does it come with a SD card adapter?

    • The class 10 pro I got a few days ago did not include it.

    • You can get a SD card adapter for few cents (delivered) from eBay. I got few for only 0.01USD

  • You guys charge $3 shipping for a 60c stamp and envelope.

    • that's where the scam is..

      in the high shipping cost

      • pickup is fine for many of us…

        • only those who live near there..like walking distance

else the petrol cost is more than the delivery cost..of 70 cents

        • negative, was a 1 block detour on the way home on my bike…and for money of those who work in the city - specially north melbourne, im sure it wasnt that bad.

  • if you could drop the shipping cost that would be great :)

  • I tried to get 1 but no option for the $3 shipping cheapest shipping was $14.80 so that's me out but thanks for the post

  • Rep, I bought this before the description was changed from Class 10 to Class 4. Is it possible to cancel the order?

  • +2

    $5.49 for a class 4 8GB card? No deal.

  • It is only worthwhile if you can pick up the card.

It is a Samsung Plus 8GB microSD. For some reason, Samsung Plus series, the 8GB ones are often rated as class 4.

  • 70cents for the stamp, $2.30 for the envelope.

    • Are stamps 70 cents now?

OH CRAP. I posted a letter in a 60c stamp last week.. will they deliver it?

Inside was my redemption for $20 on a toothbrush..

  • +1

I think no one has mentioned so I will say it:

    Shipping kills.

  • OP, obviously you are not dodgy because you allow pick up for $2.49. So, can you please consider changing shipping to $0.70 so you get more sales.

    • More sales is irrelevant since they only have 100 of them to sell. They only need the demand for it to be no more than 100.

Maybe enough will be willing to pay the $3 postage that they don't have to reduce it?

  • +1

    Shipping is ripoff

when we know the envelop and stamp is probably about 70 cents

This is like the shopping square scam

Item free, just pay for shipping

    • They learnt this trick from Kogan calendars.

    • Got the class 10 today by mail from CPL and it was a 60 cent stamp.

I should add it was a reusable stamp as it was not stamped on with ink stamp.

      • +1

If you paid via Paypal you can do a charge back and pretend item didnt arrive at all. Paypal always favours the buyer if the seller doesnt use some sort of registered/tracking shipping method ;)

        • It happened to me with Fasttech. I ordered Panasonic Smart Charger and after 2 months, I am still waiting. Fasttech claimed that they already sent the package.

        • +1

Paypal has this 45days window for you to file a claim. Over 45days you cant do anything about it :/

        • Thanks. It make me realized the timing and a bit too late. I just claimed through their resolution process to see whether I will get refund.

      • +1

I should add it was a reusable stamp as it was not stamped on with ink stamp.

Peel off the stamp and reuse it later. Brings the shipping charge from $3 down to $2.40……

    • If they listed the 'shipping' cost as 'postage and handling' it would be fine.

Considering the stamp and envelope is 70c (you say), then they put 2 labels on also (labels cost), 1 printed in colour (toner cost), the other in black and white (but possibly on the colour printer still), the black and white label has a bar code which suggests they are using a system to track this mail somehow (more systems and labour costs), and then the time it takes for a minimum or slightly higher wage worker to pack the envelope, print the labels, stick them on, run the post to the post office and wait in line at some point to buy the stamps… it's hard to complain about this isn't it?

I'd normally think I'd be the first to complain about people shafting over postage, but in this case I guess I'm wrong.

  • Businesses trying to make a profit? Why I never!

    • -3

profit from scamming people with high shipping cost…

when we know in the past they sent this item in a 60-70 cent stamp envelope

      • How is it a "scam"?

Are they hiding, or changing the shipping cost?

Sounds more like buyer stupidity than seller scam to me.

        • -2

It's a scam cos we know the postage is only 60 cents for a postage envelope..

that's what they normally send these items in the postage envelope

        • Ah! I didn't realise, that faced with all the available information re postage, it was still compulsory to buy.

          Gimme a break.

  • +1

    postage is too high.

  • I think we got it delivered for $3 last time, what's happening now (or what happened last time)?

  • $3 postage end up to 60cent stamp no deal

  • -2

So disappointed, they won't honour their deal. I rather go next corner and buy stuff from MSY in future.
I won't recommend anyone to buy anything from CPL.

When I order on line, it says pick up in store can pay cash on spot. Just in case, before I went there, I called and confirmed my order pick up. However, when I was there, they rejected my order collection because I didn't make payment on the day I placed order. If this is the case, they should notify me before I went there. Waste my time during peak traffic hour ……..

    • +2

It says in capitals that payment must be made today in the OP's description and it would have also said that payment was required upfront on the page with the deal on CPl's website.

hmm think mines already corrupt, on the first day I tried it my acer a510 wouldn't read it…

will have to see how it goes.
