WalkyDog

Hi everybody, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding something or has any experience on the WalkyDog. It's pretty much just a bicycle attachment for the seat post. I did a quick google search and skimmed over a few sites to find some websites (listed at bottom).

Anyway my problem is I want to find a genuine one made by the real company who makes these things. I'm worried that fake ones will just break and either flip my bike and thus injuring me or let my dog off causing dangers to everyone nearby (I own a husky). I'm also okay for someone to vouch for a generic one because honestly $70-$120 is ridiculously expensive for a pole attachment on a bike seat post.

To break it down does anyone know where to find a bang for buck (almost nothing cheap is good) and good quality "walkydog". I'm happy if it's second hand/pick up/online etc. So long as it doesn't break.

Thanks for everyone's opinions in advance!

  • As unlikely as it probably is, if you were to take a tip on your bike is there ANY chance whatsoever of impaling your pooch while using that? It doesn't appear to have much free leash for him to avoid it if it's coming towards him.
