How hard would it be to add something like the following to the Events Subscriptions options?
"Notify me by email when a deal reaches xxx number of plus votes"
Very often I miss deals that reached over 100 plus votes because they are not part of my category subscriptions, and for some reason i don't see them on the front page. With this option I wouldn't miss out on so many of these really good deals.
Yeah, for example i just stumbled upon that scanner app that was over 100 votes. its on page 3 because it was uploaded yesterday. Another one that Peppa Pig free shows (not really my thing) but 200 votes, on page 2 coz it was uploaded 20 hours ago.
I often wont look past page 1, but often new deals wont get up to 100 votes until 12 hours or more, by which time they have been shunted back to the second page.
The new grid layout worked well because it pushed higher rated deals to the top, but still deals that gained popularity over a day or two still get lost down the bottom of the page.
Also, about the grid layout, what happened to it? I was running it before and liked it but it has changed back to list layout now. I still have the show beta features checked..?

There is an option on the front page, top right to choose between grid or list.

If you don't want to go through email notifications, you can change your front page threshold to something larger (50 or 100). You can do this in Deals-Settings.
Cool, cheers for the extra customisation options i wasn't aware of. Though I still think my original suggestion would be useful. Hopefully some other members will leave their opinions too :) Also suggest making grid view the default over list view. Having higher voted deals pushed to the top is really useful.
by the time you got that email, deal already ozbargained ie expired :)
look under settings - and notify me when a deal hits the front page.
it's not exactly nominate the amount of votes you want, but a very similar feature
