How these free shipping works ? would they make $ back on the sale ?
Depending how the business works,
Ideally these promos are to get users onto the system to use the service so they go "wow that was great ill prob use it again'
Or
Gets people to stack up on items while its free shipping which makes the original $10 they spend on shipping covered in the increased volume of purchases from the promotion…
Its normally swings and roundabouts when it comes to these types of promotions,

The majority of people using this promo would have never thought to have purchased grog online. Once they see how convenient it is they will retain those customers.
No doubt they will get very good deals with their courier company due to the volume which will bring down their delivery costs (would not be $10 per delivery). They would also have a spike in sales (most of us that are buying now would not have purchased otherwise, or, purchased it from our local bottle-o instead of going to a DM).
I wonder how much of the market online grog sales will take up and how much it will impact the smaller stores. I've always purchased my grog in-store on the way to events, however, I am leaning towards buying in-bulk before it's actually needed now.
