      $19 are the ones without a portal, and only one giant as it says in the post.

      wireless portal came with skylanders 1, the third skylanders requires a new portal, that is wired as well

      Are you asking about Skylanders? Not sure about Giants but Swap Force is not bad for adults… I think it is similar to some of the Nintendo and Lego titles.. a few puzzles, hidden items, basic combat, smash stuff for coins, cartoon graphics, basic upgrades to characters.. 4 levels of difficulty, though nightmare is not unlocked until you complete the game on a different level. I certainly plan on completing it.

    The New Swap Force characters require the latest Swap Force portal. They will not work with the older Giants portal.

    Those PS3 and Xbox 360 packs in the picture are portal owners pack which means you can't play the game with them alone, you need to already have a copy of the first game with a portal or get a portal from some where.

    Only the Wii U is a non-portal owners pack.

    The non 'swappable' characters are backwards compatible. My local DSE still has Wii U Giants starters for $19.95 and Wii portal owners packs for $10.

      Not true.. The repeat characters like spyro will work.. But all the other new characters will not work on the old games.
      Probably because they werent even designed then let alone programmed into the game
